Couple more week's if the weather holds the ROCKFISH oughta start bustin top a little.......Water's at 42degrees at the dam with the outside temp warming a bit everyday it wont be long!

42 degrees? What kinda bass you got there that start their giddy up in water that cold? Ours start playing hanky panky at 65 to 67 degrees and were a long way off.
The Walleyes get kinky in 50 degree water and that hasnt even started yet.

Heck we still got guys standing on ice drilling holes for tip ups.

Mid to the end of march we always start catching rock's and Hybrids......If the temp stay's close to normal, this year shouldnt be any different. Water temp should change a bunch in the next couple of weeks...........I hope! Now granted we dont alway's kill em in march but they usually start showing up when these spring storms start up And If they dont I'll just go and let the turkeys make a fool out of me for a bit! Which I'm gonna do anyway!

Early spring fishing here will probably get off to a slow start. The water temps got 12*-15* colder this winter than they have the last few years. In the past, big lakes like Lake Cumberland have only gone down to around 45* in the winter. This year they had ice on them.

Yeah I'm starting to get the Bass itch myself. Won't be long til they start moving up shallow!

I have been catching a few but they are small. The bluegills are starting to hit top water bugs and stuff and I was slaying them with wax worms a couple days ago. Just nothing of any size hitting yet.

Chomping at the bit for the crappie to start feeding up a little higher.
