Believe it or not, I am her harshest critic. She always has me check the color, taste, texture and all kinds of stuff. I am brutally honest with her about what I think and she takes it pretty good. I do know a little something about what tastes good and she takes advantage of that.

It's funny you should say that Todd. The Food Network is going to be having a cake challenge in Nashville sometime in January. The ladies at the bake shop are wanting to sponsor her in the novice class to get her confidence up. My wife doesn't think she's good enough, but these ladies go every year and all concur that she could easily make the top three, while most even think her chances are very high of winning it. Soooo, we will just see, you may see her on there quicker than ya think.

If she enters that contest & gives it all 100% she will be a winner regardlless of what any judge says Bop!! I believe in her & I believe she can decorate with the best Nashville has to offer too!!

You let us know if she does it & when the show is on. I don't watch that show but I'll watch that episode for sure!!

Thanks guys. You have really given her a confidence boost. I'm proud of her, but I am very proud of my whole family. The only weak link they have is me being around.

Here's a few more of her cakes. All done free hand, all are edible except for the Tinkerbelle on top of the one cake. They insisted they wanted that on there.

It's funny you should say that Mike. There's a lady here in town that has some money and is connected with some of the folks in Nashville. She is trying to get some contacts going and wanting my wife to have her own show.

Now the chances of that happening are probably pretty slim, but it would be neat to have something like that going on. Maybe I could quit my job and coyote hunt a bunch.

I'm not going to hold my breath, but who knows, it could happen.
