My wife got us tickets, kind of a surprise early fathers day present  :yoyo:   My duck huntin partner and his wife went along with us.   I thank the good lord I dont live there.

Here's what's left of the house that Ruth built.  I swear I could still feel a presense as I walk along the old stadium, gave the the heeby geebys.

I have a billion other pics, I just thank the good lord I dont live in place like that.   The stadium itself was nice and clean but the city was nasty, dirty, smelly, crowded, etc etc etc etc...

Thank God I'm a Country Boy !!!

Thanks for the pics Vic. :bowingsmilie:   Only way I'm ever going to see the place as this country boy would not make it in that city :sad:.  Kinda nice of your wonderful wife to come up with the idea for you though :wink:.

Thanks for sharing Vic. Nice stadium for sure, but like you, I couldn't handle the big city. Did San Diego for 3 years and it sucked. I couldn't imagine NY.

My wife is a big Yanks fan. She would love to go to NY and see them play. I don't know if I would care much for the big city, but I would have to think it would be a fun trip.
