Pat, coyote101,  Did a real nice thing for me........ He invited me to stay at his cabin at LBL Free of charge....... I told him no way....... I wanted to pay my way....... and he said well you could make me some calls.....
So I told him we would work something out.
Well....... I got put in the hospital and could not make the trip......   But I do appreciate it more than anyone knows...

When my friend Dave (golfertrout) returned from LBL  he came to my home and dropped off some antlers from Pat......

So I did what any call maker would do.......... I cut em up........
Here is what I was sent......





I wanted to be sure they were not too green.......cause one of em smelled funny....    
So I waited a while for them to dry after I cut them.

Here ya go Pat..... Your a class act my friend!
From the buck you found in your moms yard I think Dave said.......

All antler howler even the tone board two piece O ring fit............








I hope this coming year we can sit a stand or two together........ Thanks again.....
I should be mailing it out within the week.

WOW Al, thanks so much. That is a great looking call.  I really love the antler calls. Please don't forget to sign it, if you haven't already.

I shot that smaller deer in 2008, and the bigger one was found dead on the mother in law's farm around Christmas last year. I figured you could put them to better use than me. They would have just sat in the garage here. You didn't owe me anything for sending them, but I really appreciate you making that call for me. 

If we both make it to LBL next year (and I intend to) we'll do those stands and see if we can't kill a coyote or two.

It is the least I can do for such a fine gesture on your part....... I only wish they woulda let me go on the trip....
If at all possible if I can swing it I will be there and we can at least talk to some of those coyotes and see if any want to play...

Man I am glad I posted this when I did...... this thing sounds freakin NNNNNNice I might have been tempted to keep it.....

It has been signed and sealed inside the barrel as to not draw attention.

The call arrived today. As is the case with every call I've gotten from the craftsmen on Fins and Fur, the pictures do not begin to do it justice.    It is truly a work of art. Thanks again Al.
