Went to the Dam .........

We got up early as we heard the strippers were running at the dam on the Ohio river........



But as you can see something needed repaired on the dam and the tugs and divers were working so the water flow was not as strong as normal and the fish seemed to have shut down.......


We did catch a bunch of small small mouths and called it a day. as the rains came........


All and all still a lot of fun........

The guys around here are reporting tough fishing in the lakes too Al. I figure it's the constant fronts & low pressure systems that keep coming thru here. You might be getting affected by the same things. At least your getting out!!

  I will never eat fish from the Ohio river.....    I will make a run fishing soon..... the bait is running and in a couple of weeks I should get some shots of using the cast net for ya and then we will catch some.....

   Sure seems that a lot of people fish just off the dams down there.  I know that is where the fellow took me in MT as well last summer.
