Start > Control Panel > Regional and Language Options > Languages > Details

It's not the size, but the availability.

Go to "Control Panel"

Then go to "Control Panel\Clock, Language, and Region"

Select "Regional and Language Options"

Pick the "Keyboards and Languages" tab

Pick the "Change Keyboards..." button

Then pick "English (Canada) - US"

Back out hitting all the "OK" buttons.

Why the [L] didn't you say it in English[Canadian] .
