Steve called me tonight and asked me to remove his banner, promoting Criner Outdoors and the production of his video.
Naturally I had to ask why.

Apparently he's invested a lot of money into the organizing of a nudist colony in his area and is going to try and promote other hunters. With internet pornography laws like they are he has decided to drop the video production and not risk it. Wise choice in my opinion  :eyebrownod: Good luck with your new endeaver Steve

Ok....Actualyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!! Steve has been accepted by Hunter Specialties as a Staff member and his video along with some of it's sponsors and other products used will end up causing serious conflict with his new position. Therefore as he accepted their offer he decided to drop his video.

I tried telling him that this was HS's way of buying him out so that his video would never hit the shelves.  :hahaha:  He didn't believe me.   No, I'm kidding. I didnt say that.

Ole Steve has been down a pretty bumpy road with his prospects of Criner Outdoors. I've watched most of it from the very beginning. He's takin some good slaps on other boards, been accused of trying to cash in on the predator hunting industry, and on and on and on.
He didn't even want to make a post about it for fear he would be labeled. I told him I'd do the post...but he certianly had nothing to be afraid of as far as opinions. This was his choice, and I think he done good.

I think he made a wise decision and I also think he's going to have a lot of fun doing what he's getting lined up to do with HS....with a lot less headaches.
Being a HS field staff doesn't give you the Randy Anderson of the year award but it offers many things that Steve loves to do. Heck look at Al Morris....how many headlines do you see him?

Good luck with your new prospects Steve. I wish ya the best of luck, and I hope it doesn't keep you from coming around the board once in a while.  :congrats:

I, for one, see no problem with "cashing in" on something you've worked long and hard at and are good at.  The doctors, lawyers, dentists, nurses, CPA's, plumbers, etc. etc.  do it every day!

Congratulations and best of luck!  You'll do well.   :highclap:

I don't think I even know someone who has gone to a nudist camp - nor do I want to.  Now I can say that I have seen the name of a person who will be running one.  Maybe in the "off " season the members (that would be without this member) could get a special admission discount.   :roflmao:
