Some of the nicest turning maple I have put a tool on

It only took about half the time sanding as some maple does

 :wo:  Perhaps it's the stabilizing that helped. I've used stabilized wood & haven't noticed a difference but I'm always using much smaller pieces. Either way I like the dyed woods.
