I keep mentioning these Swift scopes.  I don't know if everybody here as heard of them or not. I believe in them after owning just the one. There are more in my future tho.

I was turned onto them a few years ago by another internet Friend on another board. Andy Moe. I respect Andy & read everything he has to say about something. He doesn't sugarcoat his reviews for anybody. He's not a writer. He is a hunter & a shooter. And one that is well enough respected that Aguila took him & Tim Mancillas on as their load testing team for the new Centurion 5MM ammunition. I have no stake in Swift Optics other than I own 1 & I want to pick up 2 more.

Andy's article.

My experience with thier service department.

BTW-- Swift warranty says to take a defective/malfunctioning scope back to a dealer. Give them the scope with an explanation & they will send you home with a new one. Done & done. I had to send mine in for repair. The gun shop I bought it at had closed.

HaMer if you noticed the AR I shot at the LBL and some of my other rifles you will quickly realize I am a die hard Swift fan. I have been using the Premier line since I first saw them. I was told about them from an old no nonsense hunter.

Good price and a lifetime over the counter warranty. largest field of view of any other 2x7 I have found. I can see with clear clarity past legal shooting light.

I had this scope and compared the two.

I found the clarity pretty close but to my eyes I believe the Swift  to be a little better. The feild of view is greater with the Swift and the 3" eye relief works perfect for me.

Now look at the difference in price! It aint always true if it cost more it is better.

HaMer I sure was glad the weather warmed up down here in the SOUTH the UPS lady came today..

Yes she brought the new scope

Seems to blend in with the old ones.

I have been wanting to do some more breaking in of the new AR and do some serious load work. The 2x7 Swift that was on the AR doesnt have quiet enough magnification for load work and the 12x should do fair. I have been loading some different powders and weights to see if it has potential. Hopefully have a review of the scope up after the range time.

She most certainly did Richard!!   Another Swift in the stable. Good for you.  :yoyo: :yoyo:  I haven't done any range work past 100yds with my 4-12 on the FireBall but I have done some field time with it out to 232yds & the x-hairs don't cover them up.  :nono: :nono:

Seems like March 15th was merely a few days ago. And seeins how it was I just thought I would share a little scope story. I decided to take a break from cutting & glueing some of the purdiest 45* miter joints I've ever made on a project for Diane. I thought well since I am laid off I could at least go get the mail so Diane doesn't have to get it after work this afternoon. That just makes my supper 5 minutes later.  :rolleye: Well as I was peeking into the mailbox with my good eye that damn wandering eye started flipping around on me & I caught something out of place by the front door. I thought   :shock2: "WTH did she order now??" Then as I got closer I realized   :holdon:  "HEY!! THAT'S MY SCOPE!!!!!!!!!"   :whew:  She got lucky this time!!

Look who made it to my house Jim!!!!!  :yoyo: :yoyo:

Did I mention it came with a 3" sunshade AND scope cover for the $159.00 shipped!!
