Got my 5th of the season last night about 10:30. 37 pound female.

I know.......NYS DEC has a thing about shooting pregnant animals. Fox ended a month ago because they breed a little earlier.

So would that mean they close deer season after the rut and fishing season when the hens are full of eggs

I know y'all do some things a lil different up there Barry. But I've never heard of hen fishing.

Ed as usual I blew that one

. We have the worst laws to look after our natural resources in Alberta. They do however close some waters while the fish are spawning. As for coyotes we can hunt them 365 days a year but hunting is not a good way of controlling them. A person with traps and snares can slow them down but hunting just spooks them up mostly.
