Dante hopped on the quad and headed over to our neighbors pond after school today.  Temps were around 40 and a little windy, so when he wasn't back in 45 minutes I headed over with my camera.

"Haaa! That didn't take long"

Hey dad, this is goin in the bucket. I'm dyin to eat fish!

Well here's one more pic - Then I had to get my rod to get in on the action.

Ended up catching about 30 to 35, with all of them about the same small size - no where near what SCCoyoteHunter's been catching, but it's a start.  We had to keep a half dozen so he could have a meal.  Hmmm. Now where did I put that filet knife.

"Ah, to be a young man again"...The homework can wait (don't tell your parents).  Way to go Dante!  I do need to get that young man a "Steelers" jacket however?  Did you notice how your dad waited until he observed you catching fish Dante?  Then I'll bet he sidled in, fishing rod in hand,  under the ploy of wanting to be near you to photograph your fish.  It's funny how he forgot he had the camera after that?  -Not that I would ever pull something like that on your father. :innocentwhistle:
Glad you two had a great afternoon!
