Tell me what you think about these.
I had a request to make a set of three calls with a matching lanyard. The customer saw a pic of a set that I made and asked if I could make him a set like it out of Bocote with a matching keeper on a lanyard. I got started today and got everthing done except the howler. Its hard to see in these pic's, but they all have matching lines on both sides of the lanyard grooves and at the bell end of the barrel, the keeper too. I hope to get the howler made tomorrow and I'll take better pic's.
Aside from the molded tone board ( I know how most feel about them),  give me your honest thoughts and opinions of the lot so far, good and/or bad.
DON'T BE SHY.

Thanks
Aaron

Fine looking calls.  They have a style like the ones I bought from you.  My set sounds great, looks good and exhibits a high degree of finish.  The owner of this set will be happy for sure.  Looking forward to seeing the howler.

personaly I do not like the shape at the end for me but if the customer likes it that is all that really matters isn't it?  this is one of the reasons for the custom bigben call.  I like something that is easy to sit in the end and you can effeciently call with one hand.  but if another person likes theres a certian way?  JMHO takereasy.

I really like the call set.  How do you make the inside of the big howler?  The one I bought from you is very well finished with a nice taper that makes it sound great.

that set of calls is very pretty, looks like you put alot of thought into them. The wood grain and finish is superb. Now if I could get my wife to turn. There would never be any comotion about me spending so much time in the garage. Well done buddy.

I prefer a few more curves (you know like a women ) to my calls, but overall they look great.

Ninth,
I drill out the barrel to the depth I want. Then spin my tool rest in front of the barrel and use round nosed tools to open up and taper it to my liking. Then sand, I wrap sand paper around a dowel to sand the inside of the barrels.
