Bills Custom Calls

After one failed attempt and 2 weeks of the wants to I finally made this call
The final shape came from super glue sanding dust and a lot of 80 grit sand paper Since this is the first call I turned in several weeks I thought I would share it with ya folks here

All Comments welcome
Thanks for looking

It's good to see you turning Bill and still popping out a good looking call.

John
When I die, I want to go peacefully like my Grandfather did, in his sleep -- not screaming, like the passengers in his car.

The rays in that piece are really sharp Bill!  Nice work!  :yoyo:
Yotehntr calls... put something pretty on your lips

Definitely a "Bill's" style/shaped call.  We find a style that we like and pretty much stick to it.  Glad to see that you are turning again, but the real question is how the hand is progressing.

Thanks for asking Jerry
The thumb is still swollen and won't bend at the upper knuckle it looks to me as the graft is taking pretty well
My hand gets cramps in it that I have to massage out from time to time
Last weekend we were setting around the fire drinking a few beers when mom got over served and she was doing the serving  :nono: when she stood up she fell on me and I was holding my beer in my left hand and crushed the beer can over my thumb and tore a couple stitches out but with a bit of super glue all went right back together
I have learned to pick things up using my pointer finger and my middle finger instead of using my thumb.
I am getting some feeling back in the thumb but feels numb most of the time.
I see the Dr on Wednesday for what is suppose to be the last time and thats a shame cause the staff he has at this office is well worth the trip to go and see  :eyebrow:

LMAO! That sounds like something Jeff Foxworthy would come up with. :alscalls:

Bill, as I been away for a while I wasn't aware of your "accident".  Had to do some digging but found it, looks gross!  Glad to hear your coming along ok.

Nice looking call, I know we'll see many more in the weeks to come.
When they come for mine they better bring theirs

Bills Custom Calls

If you think it looks gross by looking at the pics here you should have seen it up close   :puke:

I may not do much turning in weeks to come but there may be another one soon not sure I am ready for 3 days of hand cramps right away  :laf:
