Wolf with a Howler

This 125 pound wolf was called with a Cronk Wolf Howler. This happy customer is from North Pole, AK.

Mighty fine, Rich! The first time you ever posted the sound of one of those wolf howlers, I figured it was just a matter of time before somebody scored using one of them. Kudos to the old master.

I haven't heard any more from the man yet. I am gonna E mail him and ask for a short story to go with the photo. I also want to ask him if he know Santa Clause, I mean being a resident of North Pole and all.

I didn't close the deal this after noon but I did call in a Black Coyote with one of MR.Cronk Howlers , it was right at dark and could not get a shot on him but I know when he is now.

Guys,
I got this E mail tonite-------

Hey Rich, sorry for delay. Yeah I can do that. no prob. Pretty short story.
Hey how much for another howler? I want another so I can double up, two people
howling together, sound more like a pack.
Also, when it gets cold, and calls freeze, I can have one in my jacket, keep it
warm, just switch them out.
Called in another black, but sumthin spooked it before we could get shot off.
Then, next morning right at sunrise, jumped two big grey wolves working the
road, vicinity of a moose kill.
Exciting stuff. I'm not gonna trap this year, I have way more fun & success
callin!!
