Found a few Sept Bass

The girls were suppose to come down for the weekend but both had school game commitments, so in a half a pout I decided to throw all my duties to the wind yesterday and hit the river for a couple hours.

I didnt get let down. Only took pics of about half of them but they were hitting pretty good





I cant believe this guy even got my lure in his pie hole







I told the girls once that you know you had a good day Bass fishing when you go home with what I call bass thumb.
Which anyone who bass fishes knows I'm referring to the scratched up roughened thumb skin you get from the tiny teeth on the bass while unhooking them.
In fact one weekend the girls were comparing thumbs to see whos was scratched up the most.

So when I got back from fishing yesterday I staged this next pic and emailed it to them.
They told me I was retarded and bored

Love it!  I know exactly what you mean by Bass Thumb, though it has been years since I caught a bass.  You gotta catch a good few to develop a painful case of Bass Thumb.  I sure feel sorry for you!

Hey, do feel bad for you that your girls couldn't come down.  We all enjoy the stories and pics of your times with them, but not half as much as you do.

Looks like a good time, but I am sure it would have been better if the girls would have been along.
