Got a couple days off so I had some time for a hunt. It poured rain all night, then quit early this morning. So Jason (jdbp) and I headed for the woods for a 1/2 day hunt. Our 1st stand was dry. Then we went a couple hundred yards farther into the woods for the 2nd stand. I started with some pup distress on the green Lil-Dog. Within 10 seconds I saw her trotting towards me thru the woods. She came from the direction straight back in the middle of the pic. I let her get to about 30 yards then flattened her with a load of #4 BUCK. We tried a couple more stands with no luck.

Yes, it was the new Carlsons Coyote Choke. She went down like she was hit with a truck.

I'd say she was only in her 2nd year. Her teeth were worn more than this years pups would be, but her teats have not been used yet. She was only about 30 pounds.
