I wasnt keeping them anyway.
Fishing yesterday in 55 degree water started out like I was fishing in 55 degree water or something :doh2: Couldnt find a bass to save my life. I knew it'd be slow...but c'maawwn.

The sun came out after lunch, and I found em :eyebrow: I surely never expected a day like this, this early and this cold.

Biggest one for the day, didnt measure him but I'm guessing 18 1/2 to 19  inches. He was real nice. I couldnt get him to straighten out for the pic, to show his size for nothing. Eyeballs the size of quarters :eyebrow:

Same fish below, I was trying to get his whole body and he kept curling on me.

Same fish again...he's not cooperating.  :doh2:

Then several other catches before the air temps dropped back in to the 40's and it made for a nice day.

The later it got the smaller they got :wo:

No, no custom chatters :laf:
Chatterbaits are pretty basic, there's not a lot for options or alterations, and they are pretty cheap to buy.
I made my spinners cause I couldnt find them with the blades I grew to like, or with decent skirts and jigheads.
