I think I'm going to cry once (maybe twice) and dust off the wallet and purchase a FLIR PS-32 Thermal monocular this week.

I've drooled over and fondled one at the Las Vegas SCI Convention. I'm absolutely positive it'll be the cats meow for hawgs, predators, and varmints.

I was wondering if anyone here has one, or has spent some time behind one in the field.

At last years SCI Banquet in Tucson a guy at our table had one. Swore by it, almost convinced me to go out and buy one until I noticed the price tag............

Three or four years ago one would be hard pressed to get one under 10k.

Now, the PS-24 can be had for under 2k

Still not "cheap" by any means. However, sell 3 or 4 rifles or other gear/equipment not getting much use, and it becomes affordable!

Last time I drooled and fondled something, it cost me a lot more than 10 grand.  Heck........ I'm still paying....................just ask my wife.
