The cow and calves must like it around here. The top bar on the gate in the background is approximately 4 feet high. It should give you an idea of the size of these animals. The bull is proving to be elusive and has not shown up on the cameras yet.

The National Weather Service in Marquette has issued a frost
advisory... which is in effect from 1 am to 7 am EDT Wednesday.

Hazardous weather...

* inland from Lake Superior... temperatures will fall as low as 32
   to 37 degrees late tonight... allowing for areas of frost to
   develop.
