I was gonna order through Wally World but Amazon was cheaper via pyramydair.com
Especially since I ordered the mounts, CenterPoint laser, oil and ammo and it all comes from pyramydair.com also.

When you get it, give us/me a report on the quality of new ones.  Mine has a HORRIBLE trigger:   long, scratchy uneven pull, with a burr about 3/4 of the way through that pulls tight and then jumps past.  Took some learning to get to where I could shoot it offhand, but now the hard pull resistance at the burr on some part of the trigger mechanism is my warning as to how close I am to breaking the sear for the shot. :laf:

Can't believe how old mine is, but it still shot last year.  Bought mine for $28 (? or less) at White Elephant on Divison Street in Spokane a year or so after Mt. St. Helens blew.  My older son was with me that summer day and we also bought a big box of Bing cherries.  We ate cherries as we drove back roads west and took turns shooting the new pellet pistol out the window to kick up dust in the layer of volcanic ash powder, or see the pellet splash on farm ponds and lakes.

If Code reads this, ask your Dad about that trip!

I use mine when I am hunting on stand and those damn squirrels gather and start chattering at you...I slip out the 1377, pop, silence... :eyebrow:

Good shooting!  IME, squirrels are a LOT harder to kill than grouse.

On calling stands for predators, I like to have squirrels, crows, magpies etc. around.  I don't stay long enough for them to annoy me and I like the realism and the way they tip me off when a predator is on the way.  They pick up on incoming critters way better than I do.    I don't use stands for deer but for some reason don't like squirrels chattering at me when deer hunting or stopping for a bit to rattle!   :wo: Inconsistent??

Ill be real interested in seeing how that laser works out!..also for any air gun you want to use Pell oil or 2nd choice, 30 weight NON-DETERGENT oil...regular oil will often ruin the seals in the gun.

My cousin Joe-Don-Leroy told me this, not sure if its true though:

"So I was out there all alone in the woods, me and my Crosman American Classic 1377,
A giant bear came up behind me and swiped my gun away while he ripped off my shirt I CRAWLED to my Crosman American Classic and aimed it at it's heart. He had eaten my right arm by now, so I shot it one handed (The recoil almost broke my arm) and sure enough, the bear flew backwards 10 feet into a tree and snapped it in half, luckily killing it. So yeah, I advise getting this pellet gun. so worth it."

Oh there is NO doubt in my mind that story is true, Nasty :eyebrownod:

According to Amazon...everything should be here on or before the 5th :eyebrow:

She will look good along side the Super Comanche!...I like the .22 is black also, I would suggest 1 in each caliber!...the .22 is slower with more weight but the .177 is faster with a flatter trajectory.

Todd Rahm

Yes, you may. Not a lot of calls being offered up these days so I need to subsidize.

And the black one will be camo'ed when I'm done with it.  Maybe in snow camo.  :innocentwhistle:

No apparently Amazon had this stuff there so they broke it into two shipments. The gun, the laser, and the ammo is coming from Pyramyd Air.
Which kinda ticks me off cause they are saying a delivery date of the 9th and I paid for 3 day freight. :argh:

Last night at 11:50 it was in Indianapolis, IN.
So it made a 7 hour journey today. Well it's 12:50 now so I mean yesterday.

Cedar Rapids is a little over 2 hours from me, so unless it sets there all day. I should see it tomorrow :jump:  :thumb2: :hellyeah:

You can also just pop the trigger spring out and compress it a few times, worked great on mine:

"Trigger pull was fairly heavy at first but I did a little trigger spring compression and it's very nice and smooth now."

FinsnFur

I seen an article last night where a guy says he took the trigger spring out and went to ACE and got a replacement. He got the same diameter spring, but bought one made out of thinner wire, then just trimmed it to length. They got those little trays cabinets with every size spring in the world, and a few from other worlds.
