!st night success

Well I've been waiting for a while for my daughter to post a story on our first night's hunt, but she keeps pushing it off.
Dad can't wait any longer and has to at least post the pic.

It was a fun hunt as we watched this guy bed down about 40 yds away in a thicket and didn't move for over an hour. All we could see of him was the seam between his tail and hind quarter, and then a few glimpses of his antlers every now and then.

Miss Lightning in a Bottle has done it again! I got to actually see her buck (7pt) in person, and it was a dandy! She made a fine shot on it and made us all proud. But not as proud as her dad. Well done Sarah!
