Some deer behind the house . . .

I've been watching some deer here behind the house.  I hung a feeder in a tree about 75 yards below the house.  There is also a persimmon tree that they like.  Ive been getting some nice pictures.  One evening the sun was shining and really made the pictures pop!

I don't think any of these will make it into a freezer.   I did a google search and found out that Frogman is one of the main trainers for reindeer used by Santa.  So, there is no way that they will be in a freezer.

Great capture of those deer spotlighted by the sun against a dark background.  I love to glass open alpine at sunrise or sunset from a high point with the sun at my back.  The sun lights up critters like a spotlight.

Probably won't be in my freezer.  I've killed my share of deer over the years.  I'm tired of dragging them, cutting them up, etc.  Some of the neighbors hunt, so they may end up in someone else's freezer.  One neighbor has seen a really nice 10 point.  I might be tempted if I see him.  I would rather call coyotes!!

They are beautiful creatures though and I enjoy seeing them!
