Grandson Jonathan's 8 pointer

My grandson, Jonathan, killed this beautiful 8 point buck Saturday evening with his crossbow.  Due to a shoulder injury he couldn't draw his compound bow this year.  Jonathan is the older brother of Jacob, who killed the nice 10 pointer a few weeks ago. He is the same grandson featured in my avatar with his first coyote.

That is one GREAT looking buck.  I am sure that he is thrilled.  Or at least I would be.

Old Jonathan and his older brother, Josh, have killed some really good bucks with their bows the past few years. It griped Jonathan quite a bit to not be able to hunt with his bow this year, but he has done well with his crossbow. He killed two young coyotes one night a few weeks back while on deer stand.  Thanks to all for your kind words about my grandsons.
