NY state actually dropped the prices on their hunting licenses across the board! Even my trapping license will be $35 less...still $275 though, ouch! Turkey tags are now $20 instead of $50! The general license went up to $100 from $85, but that gets you deer and bear now. Guess I'll be toting a big gun with me on my trapline trip this fall.

Speaking of which, anybody interested in a scouting mission / bear hunt in October? Adirondack style of course.

Holy Cow!!!!!

I think my hunting, trapping and fishing was $62!!!

A $10 King tag when I want to start fishing for them again, and a $25 Grizz tag if I hunt an area that requires one.

I guess there's water fowl stamps too, if I ever get to take that up?

Draw Permits cost me an easy $100+ for me and the kid.

Suppose it balances out! :doh2:

Ya gotta like that. I never heard of em dropping like that. What was the reasoning?

No idea Jim...I'm not going to complain though. That trapping license is still through the roof, but at least they lowered it some.

Todd - $25 Griz Tags??!?!?! That's it? Non-res don't qualify for that I assume? I know a cheap guided hunt is minimum $10k for a non-res. And aren't non-res required by law to use a guide in AK for griz?

That's correct Steve, unless ya marry my sister for ten days then kick her to the curb!  :alscalls: then I could take ya just for the tag fee.
