Got out last night for some calling . . .

Jon and I got out last night for some calling near my sisters house near Barlow OH.  On our first set right at dark one howl got us responses from two packs of coyotes.  Unfortunately all our further efforts did not result in any visuals on coyotes??  Second set no response.  It was a great evening here to hunt with cool temps, no wind and a bright moon for our second set.  The great thing about coyote hunting is that we had a great time even though we didn't get a coyote.  I love hearing them light up like on our first set!!

Sounds like fun . I'm pushing for  a September opening for me that month has always been good to me.

Can u guys use spotlights, Jim?

Yes, Jim, we can use lights to call coyotes from Jan. 1 - July 32 in WV.  Just across the river in OH we can call using lights year round.
