Trout trip 4-6-2007

This post should piss finsnfur off enough to ban me already..LMAO

Newdog and I set out to the Caney Fork River this morning. It started off a little slow again, possibly due to the cold, but it fired up real quick once we switched to lures instead of powerbait. We ended up with a whopping 56 trout.

55 rainbows and 1 brown. This was by far the most productive day on the Caney fork ever for me! ND caught an awesome Rainbow, but after some fiddling around, taking a pic and such, the fish fell off the lure and swam away for another day..

Glad you were there to take the better share of the trip newdog.

Yep! Snow, Cold and 20-30 MPH winds! Sure dont feel like April! I sure hope the weather turns around before next Sat or I am going to have some COLD turkey hunters....lol

Great pics guys.
The last time I asked a buddy to go trout fishing at Tellico river...His reply was "How bout I break your rod...bust your tackle box.... kick you in the nuts.... and we just say we went fishing".

Our fishing trips always turned out bad.
But Looks like ya had a great time.
