Been seeing these two behind the house.  We think the mother doe was killed by a car??

They sure are pretty!!! I have to wonder if the mother is laying low they look awfull fat and healthy.

A doe was hit by car and killed a few days before we started seeing them.  She died in my back yard.  Had to have the neighbor scoop her up with his tractor and dump her further from the house.  Then we started to see these two.  I have never seen them with a doe.  I'm just guessing the dead one was their mother??

I had a couple does one with twins and one with a single two years ago.
The single mom got killed by a car and the other raised its little one. Pretty neat how nature can be so cruel yet it can still be compassionate at the same time.
