Have always been a Chevy guy.  My last hunting vehicle was and still is a 97 S-10 Blazer.  Bought well before the HNIC took over GMC.  My next hunting vehicle will be a Ford 150.
When they come for mine they better bring theirs

The bail out is the only thing good that's came from our government in the last 7 yrs.  People on welfare can't afford the parts to drive a ford.[emoji28] Jim if you get you a Chevy you can make the drive down to lbl there won't be any excuses.[emoji373] [emoji106].
Heck you can probably bring several more people with you when you consider the room you will have when you leave all those tools at home. [emoji81] HA HA HA!!!

I may have to get one of those shirts to go with my "Ford Built without your tax dollars" shirt.   :eyebrownod:

As far as government motors and fiat, remember this clown may help you out when you have problems. At your expense, of course.

The down fall if gm wouldn't of been bailed out would of been catastrophic across the board.
The amount of jobs and peoples lives that would of been effected would of been shocking to say the least.
Gm has really came a long way with cars and trucks being compared to the highly coveted Toyota's . Bad management can ruin any business no matter how good a product you have just like good management can sell anything.

The bailout of government motors was also to protect the halfrican's union supporters. Nothing has changed and it's status quo at gm.

"The government bailout of General Motors (GM) and Chrysler between 2008 and 2009 will cost taxpayers between $17 and $20 billion. The entirety of these losses occurred because the Administration gave the United Auto Workers (UAW) special treatment. The UAW recovered far more in the bankruptcy than it had a legal right to:

Bankruptcy typically brings uncompetitive wages down to competitive levels. However, existing UAW members did not take pay cuts at General Motors.

The restructured General Motors used taxpayer funds to “top up” the pensions of unionized retirees at Delphi, its bankrupt former parts subsidiary. New GM had no legal obligation to do so and nonunion employees did not receive similar benefits.

These subsidies to UAW compensation cost taxpayers $30.0 billionâ€"more than the government spends each year on foreign aid or on extended unemployment insurance benefits. They account for the entire net taxpayer losses in the bailout.

UAW members at General Motors and Chrysler are among the most highly paid workers in America. High salaries are good, but they must be earned. The taxpayer losses came from the special treatment that President Obama bestowed on the UAW. The auto bailout was actually a UAW bailout."

As far as Ford building plants in other countries, at least they did it with their own money. Not like governmant motors building a plant in China AFTER they got the cash from US taxpapyers. gm still owes the taxpayers billions from the bailout. Rest assured, they'll never repay it either.

I think it all comes down to one thing the Unions, it denies the right to work for a lot of people and believe me are sucking this country dry.

I stopped by the Ford Dealership yesterday, for a look at the new F-250 pickup. Just for fun, I took it out for a test drive. I wanted to sense that new truck "feel and smell."

The salesman ( big black man wearing an Obama "change" lapel pin) sat in the passenger seat next to me, describing the truck and all its "wonderful" options.  The seats were of particular interest. He explained that the seats directed warm air to your butt in the winter and directed cool air to your butt in the summer heat.

Feeling like messing with him, I mentioned that this must be a Republican truck.  Looking a bit angry, he asked why I thought it was a Republican truck.  I explained that if it were an liberal Obama truck, the seats would just blow smoke up your ass all year-round.

I had to walk all the way back to the dealership. The guy had NO sense of humor...none...

read this and had to step away from the computer... came back 20 minutes and still giggling...   :yoyo:

LOL! :laf: That would be funny.
I'm surprised they were allowed to campaign politically like that, even if it was silently with a lapel pin. To me that would drive away 50% of the sales right there, or at least get them off on the wrong foot.
