I decided a couple months ago it was time to kill a pine tree & sacrifice it's lumber to the Lumber Gods. The end results are as follows. I used an atomic clock that once set to stupid daylight savings time I never have to reset it. It gets it's reading from Colorado. Installed a mirror in the waist with some glass shelves for some of Diane's glass pieces.

Just the little 3 LED puck light lit.

Thanks guys. I appreciate the kind sentiments. I don't have a clue how many hours I have it in. I just worked on it when I felt good about being out there & took my time. I started it mid June. The only concept of time that I have on this is the 3 1/2hrs it took to stain it.  :laf: :laf:

when you step out of the truck you become part of the food chain...

Nice looking clock you made there.  Getting stain to be even with pine is a difficult task.  How tall is it?

Thanks again guys.

Diane would have liked it more had I put in a movement with chimes. But she's ok with the way it turned out. And pine is difficult to stain Jerry. That's why I used the gel stain. It finished out a tad shorter than I wanted at 6' 3 1/4".  Was aiming for the 6' 6" mark but came up a tad short. Such is life.  :laf: :laf:

Thanks Dale!!

This pic is much more realistic looking. The color is appropriate in this one.

Thank you Carl. Woodworking is more enjoyable & relaxing than most of my other hobbies. I do OK at it.  I'm happy with the things I create most of the time.

WWWest already recommended the bricks. Damn hill billies anyhow!!  :nono: :nono:  Besides,, there all under the vehicles in the front yard.  :alscalls: :alscalls:

Not anymore. Those went to the scrap yard. Nobody around here wanted them. On the other hand there's a big market for dodge parts.  :alscalls: :alscalls:
