It missed Christmas, but there is now a layer of sleet all over everything. Hopefully it starts to melt before Becky and I need to drive home tonight.

well it was cooler today it only got to 64Â° and a little rain, I'm grilling right now in t-shirt and shorts...

I see that you're getting snowed in...

that's why I came south... I don't have to put up with that winter crap no more... only supposed to get back up into the mid 70's the rest of the week... it's tough, but I think I can handle it...

Rain Rain go away bring some snow I'm tired of mud ! Here in Northern Ky it won't stop raining,most everything is flooded and it's been in the low 60's sept for today it was 49. The power has went on and off several times at our house down Middlesboro due to high winds and the security system has been telling me the temps today were 74... My guess is that Weedwalker has his shorts on but got a strap holding his hat on..lol

Becky and I made it home without any major problems. High speed was about 50 and every once in a while a sheet of ice would come off the hood smacking the windshield which was not fun but kept me awake. Had pretty hard rain several times and also some wind that slowed the car or at least got my foot off of the accelerator since I couldn't see anything. The temp held right on 32 till about 10 miles from town when it made it to 33. Been home for about an hour and a half and the temp is up to 38. Looks like the rain has been here for the past two days and the flood warnings are out. We are on some of the high ground in town so it won't be a problem for us, but the people living along the river might need their boats.
