Meet my newest whip.[emoji16]
Picked her up tonight. More length, more width, more height, more weight capacity. And whole lot more money lol.
But it all adds up to more stability. This one has a standing pad in front of the seat that you can stand up on and move around comfortably. I'm Amazed.
I cannot wait to get her in the water.

So, you listed all of those 'mores' but forgot to add more FISH.  I think it is great that you have a new kayak.  You are spending a lot of time out on the water and you might as well be comfortable while there.

Okanagan

Wow!  That's a fishing machine, bass boat of kayaks.

JohnP

You couldn't pay me enough to stand up in that kayak!!!  But it is very nice looking and I know you will enjoy it.
When they come for mine they better bring theirs

John, I could not agree more.  I do a slow crawl when I try to get into one of my canoes and stay as low as I can.  Standing up in anything that rocks is not an option.  I think kayaks are a 'young man' kind of thing.

FinsnFur

I dont think I'll be standing much in it. But I DO have to try it now that Barry dared me lol.
Glen this is the third upgrade. This will probably be the last. Did I say the other last one was the last one? [emoji23]

I don't know anything about kayaks but that looks like a really nice one.  Congrats.  :congrats:

you need to bust that bad boy out for some waterfowl hunting!  My nephews float their kayaks down the Connecticut River in the fall and slay the ducks and Canadian geese a lot of times they drift right up to them like a log and give it to them.

FinsnFur

That does sound fun. What day should I come up?

If you fish the Connecticut River you might not go back to the flatlands  :innocentwhistle:  as an added bonus the river is the boundary between Vermont and New Hampshire and you can hunt and fish both sides in both states with one license  :yoyo:

It was legal to hunt from a canoe years ago and it was a great way to get squirrels. They didn't pay any attention to the canoe UNTIL it touched the bank and then the squirrels were off and running.  It usually didn't even really bother them if the 22 hit the limb rather than them.

Corn and oaks along the river!  Squirrel hunting heaven

JohnP

Hunted squirrel and fished from a Coleman Crawdad while stationed at Fort Bragg.
When they come for mine they better bring theirs

nastygunz

I had a Crawdad and she was a fine vessel back in the day!

FinsnFur

Never heard of those [emoji848]
