John asked about the patio with fire pit, or more accurately, a fire pot.

Wife and I recently moved to this place, a bed and breakfast apartment our son invited us to remodel and expand.

The fire thing is a ceramic pot about two feet across with an iron band around it and iron legs.  Stoked with alder it has roasted a lot of hotdogs lately plus some venison steaks. For bonfire we burn fir.

Out on the lawn is a 14x14 canopy we've used in rain more than sun.  Love to eat supper there with a soft rain on the canvas overhead.

That looks really beautiful and peaceful.  I love the sound of a mild rain.

Thanks for posting that Okanagan.  Similar to what I thought you meant.  Very beautiful setting, I miss my mountain backyard and when I see yours I miss mine even more.
When they come for mine they better bring theirs
