No wonder it's so hot up there!! Ya got them bearings smokin!!  :laf: :laf:  I could tell it was fast but I wouldn'ta guessed it over a 7. Dang!!

MANY years ago I went to Ultra then to Micro Light & never went back. My fastest is,, I think,, a 5:1 spinning outfit with a trigger. I'm never in a hurry for that next cast tho.

When I was using spinning reels I loved those triggers. But since I switched to baitcasters I've never looked back I just, I don't know, it added a whole new dimension to fishing.

I had to go back and look at the video to see which rod I was using for that fish. I carry a couple different rods for different lures and presentations. That one was actually 7.1 to 1. That's a saltwater baitcaster I bought on accident. But I like it and the only difference is it has stainless bearings instead of regular.

If it's a little fish, I'll light that bitch on fire bringin it in because I don't care if I lose it or not. That was pretty much the case there LOL

LOL I used to have one of those nasty. I liked it other than it was big and goofy looking. I found one in the bottom of the river one time also [emoji23]

Nah, Glen is just one of those people who have a photographic memory.  He saw it years ago and just pulled it out.

Last walleye I caught out of the Connecticut River just got him out of the water and a voice about 2 inches behind my ear said nice one! I almost jumped out of my boots and turned around and a fish cop was looking me right in the eye ha ha. 🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟

It's actually a very simple formula Jim. Kinda like writing a computer website for you.  :readthis: I'm thinking that number goes up a good bit as the spool fills up. 31" on an empty 5/8"ish spool might be 35" or 36" on a full spool. Either way those are fish drowning numbers. lol
