Sort of yes lol. But it's not a snow shovel. He comes up with his snow blower and carves out these intricate trails to the woodpile for me [emoji1787]

We've got a bunch of that white stuff headed our way. Should be here by tomorrow.  I'm looking forward to it. I love snow!

1 1/2" of snow in the first 1 1/2hrs. When it 1st started it was a full on snow storm and has lightened some. Radar shows its gonna be tonight before its over. Glad I bought a brown truck. Lol

Your wood situation is better than mine. I am down to less that 1/4. I have enough to get me into the middle of March. That might be enough but I will probably have to cut a little more.

My problem is all of the Ash that died. I hate to waste it so I have cut a bunch of it. It tends to burn hot but not last long. Next year I am going to concentrate on the Oaks, Sugar Maple, Hickory, and Locust. I'm not even that fond of Cherry but won't turn it down.

We're getting it now. I looked at the weather for Arkansas where my daughter is. They are going to get whammered with 5" today, 1" tomorrow, and10" Wednesday. A rather enjoyable snow for around here but down there...She went to Wally World for some ice cream last night and said the shelves were bare. They's going to shut down that part of the state.

I like watching the wood piles here because in the winter time the mice get in them to chew on the bark and then the ermine follow the mice right into the wood piles and kill them and then usually sit on top of the wood pile and eat them.  Free entertainment

FinsnFur

I like ash cause like you said it burns good and hot. But mostly because it has very low ash at the end of the burn.

The storm just started here, expecting about ten inches.

It was a balmy -27 F here this morning. There was even a bit of ice on the water.  :laf:

That snow lasted about 2 1/2hrs then vanished into the frozen tundra of the North East where it was excitedly welcomed by nastygunz!

Then around 5PM last night the ice rain started. Thankfully it was very light and only lasted til around 11PM. Only got 2" of that stuff.  :whew:
