Looks like it thawed, but got covered with weeds.

The water is only 47 degrees. I knew it was too soon. But when I found this run I had to venture down it to see if anything was in the shallows trying to warm up.

All the places I fish are at high water right now. Might try some catfishing this weekend depending on what the rain does this week

The high water should light things up for ya. Some of my best fishing is from hitting flooded fence rows and fields.

If the water is about the same most of the year that looks like a great place for ducks and mosquitoes.

Water levels are going up and down so fast here I would be afraid to float a field for fear of getting stranded high and muddy.
