Hey Al, I've got cable broadband. When I hit the sound it goes to Musicmatch and not showing up there to play. And yes my speakers are on.

Weedwalker do you have Windows Media Player on your PC?

If you do....and your running Windows XP, you can download one of the files to your desktop so that you can use it as a reference.

Once you do that, right click the file and choose "Properties" from the drop down menu.

In the "Properties" window...the 3rd line down from the top reads, "open with;" 
Click the change button next to that and choose Windows Media Player from the list it pops up.
