They are biting good now but can't seem to lock onto any really big ones.

Hawks Feather

Fishermen and women had been hitting the Maumee river till the heavy rains hit. I am pretty sure there are still some there, but I with the flow of water in the spring I never even thought about walking out in the river. Then the current rains have raised the water level here over 10 feet and it is MOVING fast. It has to be well up the banks at the spot where they fish.

Man, I wish I had some walleye to eat.  It's probably a couple of hundred miles from here to the nearest walleye.  You guys are making me hungry.

For some reaon I woke up yesterday morning dreaming about eating white meat fish, and have been craving some ever since.  Can't find a package of rock cod in my cluttered chest freezer.  Too much salmon in the way. :laf:
