Can’t log in via desktop

Can't log in on my desktop now. When I try I get this message "You were unable to login. Please check your cookie settings." I haven't changed anything. Ideas?

Yah..the last forum upgrade made things a bit stricter. It messed with some stuff, login sessions, data cookies etc.
I made a couple changes in the back after seeing this thread, in attempt to make things a bit easier fort some of ya.

The updated system doesnt want you logged in for 7 years straight. So it will log you out after (a predetermined amount of time) I know it's easier to just get up and walk away and leave the dishes on the table but thats whats causing the problems now. Folks not logging out.

I'm trying to trick the new system by changing some things back.
So log out...at least once..refresh your browser, or close it and re open it...and let me know if my changes helped any of you.
If it doesnt, I'll change a few more things.
