Headed to the World Shooting Complex

The Rookie Squad got to compete at the World Shooting Complex yesterday. And they were all very excited to do so.

They started out very well, despite the weather not being in anyone's favor with 1000° temps and lightning delays.
Things went south when they were told to continue on in the rain. (those poor firearms)
I cant imagine competing in the rain, especially if your using shooting glasses.

But all said and done, they didnt do too bad. Grampas girl only took a 65% average but it could been worse.
Their whole rookie squad did take 2nd place, and I couldnt be prouder.

Tell her congratulations! It looks like she is much happier with the medal than she was when she was in the chair.    I think it is great that she is continuing to shoot and hope that she will inspire other girls to follow in her footsteps.
