Day 2 crow hunt....

Weather didnt play nice all day, but we ended up with 1 kill, 1 loss...

We only made 2 stands today, wind was blowin like mad with storms rolling all over.
First pic my fav stand for killin local birds.. In the background you can see the Catholic Church, we sit atop a sand-pit. You can just see the river flat in the bottom leftish of the pic.

Next 2 pic's are of my boy at the end of the day, we both got 1 on the last stand and he found his...

Over all we killed over 18 birds and only recoverd 7. I'll have a total pic in a few.

Well, we didnt win, winning number was 13 crow. "If" we had found all that we shot..........
Regardless it was a blast, we'll be ready for dove, early goose season and duck. This summer is rocketing by.
Cant wait to hear my brother when he's missing them ducks, I should film it lol

I showed up this Morning so we went hunting

AND we didnt HAVE A DEKE until Bill Shot the First Crow of the day,,I shot one but it hit the ground in High Weeds and we didnt have ALL DAY to find it,,and I had one damn near take my Hat off but when I spun to shoot I laid off of the Trigger because the Farmer was down that way and so was the Farmers house,,and I was taking NO CHANCES on coming close to his House,Barn or HIM,,he is a GREAT old guy and I would have felt like shit if a BB came anywhere NEAR him OR his house

I had my Friggin FX 5 jump Time on me when the Remote accidently got shut off,,But after I reset it the Crows decided they DIDNT want to play anymore

BUT DAMN we had fun,,we only did 2 sets but it was a Fun ass day!!!

Cool deal, did you happen to see the the GHG dekes that are out now ? Them things are the real deal.
They're super realistic and come fulley floked.

I only had 3 on my Camera,,I took the pics of him with his crow on his Camera,,I dont take my wifes Camera in the field but then again IF I lose it,, SHE can buy another one

I wonder if she will go for that
