A new shape call for me

I recently finished making a couple new calls. They are a new shape for me. I have made one for a customer and one that I gave to an 8 year old, new to hunting. But these are the first I have attempted to sell. I call them my Golf Ball calls. They are shaped like a golf ball and about the same size. They really fit nicely into the hand and carry easily in the pocket. Closed reed is sold. The open reed is available for $15 shipped.

The first one is an open reed distress using one of THO's toneboards. It is made from Bloodwood and is about 2 5/8" over all length. It is shipped with a protective cover as show in the pictures.

The second is also bloodwood with a blackwood mouth. It can be voiced cottontail or jack. It is over all 2 1/8".

Both these calls are finished very nicely inside and out with an oil and wax finish. I think you will like them and I thank you for looking.

I think you should change the name to Cherry Bomb

First thing I thought of was an apple w/ the red body, green leaf, & stem.

But the Cherry Bomb seems appropriate.

I'll take the closed reed, and for the record, I dig the "Cherry Bomb"

I'll let ya know about the hand fit and function when I get'r, but I don't for see any problems.

They are some really neat looking calls. I like the name Cherry Bomb as well but what do you think of the name "Cherry Poppers"?

I still say that Todd should throw two green leaves on it and call that little sucker an "Apple"! :roflmao: at least it's not a lemon :roflmao: I am on a roll, can you tell I need to hit the hay!

Lynn makes some great calls and since Todd and I are like brothers it's only fair that we keep the calls in our hands so Lynn send the open reed to me.

I's like to keep the open reed call "Golf Ball Call" that I bought from Braz a secret but I have to tell you this golf ball call can perform, amazing the sounds that this little sucker can produce and loud as all get out!

Just glad that I was able to pick this one up. If you are looking for a workhorse, this call will do it!
