Official Crow Contest sign up in Bird forums

Folks, I contacted Jim about setting up a FnF Crow contest to run the second weekend of March, the 8th and 9th.
I'm just wondering if we would have enough interested.
The rules would be very simple and I'll explain them if we get the ball rolling.

I've been in a few online hunts like this and had a blast.

Let me know what yall think or if you'd be interested.

Thanks guys, thats the things I really needed to know but never gave it a thought

. Seasons arent the same.

I'll do some research and figure out when the season is open to most if not all of us and go
from there.

Ohio season:

Opens - June 8, '07 -- Ends - March 16, '08

Fri. Sat. Sun Only

I didnt realize all the differ seasons on these things. For example in Alaska check this out, you can take 5 per day
however a bird may be taken only if used for food or clothing and no part of a bird may be sold or offered for sale.

we close march 31 here in newyork but can only hunt them on friday saturdays sundays and mondays count me in i'm game

Sure Hammer, the more the merrier. Since everyone's season differs maybe the first one can be
a "Braggers Rights" type of hunt with no prizes

Its up to you guys, not too many have shown interest
in the flying black chickens

INDIANA:

Crow (early) July 1, 2007 - Aug. 15, 2007 No limit
Crow (late) Dec. 13, 2007 - Mar. 1, 2008 No limit

I have particapated in the other hunts that have happened on the pa boards. I did a g-hog hunt and a crow hunt on the ppha board. those that did them thought they were great. real good competition. silencer was in one that I also particapated in. did I clear that up for you or is it still muddy?

Yeah that makes a lil more sense. The first post was a little concise.

We've had many different hunts and contests. Everything from fishing tournament, to name a certain song based on a short clip, to a coyote with a white tip tail, etc........ and yeah..I have no probs with a crow hunting gig.....I wish there was more people involved, but hey, what'ya do.

That sounds like a good idea, let them pick the weekend they want to hunt and just set a final date no later
than the 9th. ? I trust everyone.
