anyone want to do a g-hog hunt?

I was wondering if anyone wanted to do a braggin rights hunt.  maybe make it three classes.  longest shot, longest whistlepig, and most in the season.  maybe run it till the first of october?  start in april?  I was out this afternoon and missed one at 200 yds.  I guess there is a good reason to have a video camara act like your spotter.  went right under him.  is anyone game?

Ben, I'd love to do it but in all reality there isnt many whistle pigs in my area.  I did see one hit with a car today :)

I have only seen maybe 10 in my life time and have never shot one. I would love to be able to find some and try my hand at them. I enjoy seeing you guy's pics and clips of ground hogs keep them comin

well even with a few of us.  we will just keep posting in this thread.  hunt starts the first of april and goes to the last day of september.  all your state rules apply.  me and a buddy are heading out this saturday to try to get some before pups start showing up.  in the end it means less to hunt but makes happy farmers.  which in the end means previously unhunted fields for fox are open to us for helping the farmers.  even though it is still considered fun.  but we make it sound like work.    don't tell them that though.

Shot one yesterday at a paced 50+ yards with the Ruger 22/45, one shot. It was a sow and by looking at her tits, she had yungin's.

I got five this summer if you do not count the ones I shot of the front porch with the hmr.  I did not really think there was a bunch of interest so I did not pursue it.  I guess I kinda dropped the ball
