i think any call will work in certain situations, i just like to get out n hunt n that's what i do. i am certainly no expert but i do love to hunt n fish. There may be others on here that might kill more yotes then me, but i dont think there r many that catches more trout then me.

Now hold on just a second..... :eyebrow: I had a trip last year where I lost count at 52 in just a few hours.  :shck: That was just one trip.

golfertrout

thats a bunch dude, i bet ur arm was sore.  thats an average of one fish every 2 minutes. hmmmmmmmmmm kinda hard to believe. Was u at krogers picking out the fish every 2 minutes?

DirtyDog

Nope......but I think the state has just released them. They were mostly about 4-5 inch browns where I am used to catching 12 inch rainbows. And yes, my arms where very tired.  :sick2:

This is what I am used to catchin.....

golfertrout

4 or 5 inch browns, they usualy stock bigger then that in WV, my biggest brown is 23 inches caught in the mnts. i just got back sunday n caught a bunch of trout, biggest 19 inch brown.

DirtyDog

They might have been 6"......I have never caught one there bigger than the ones they released. Lots of good bows, just not big browns......

sorry for hijacking the thread.  :doh2:

FinsnFur

Yeah this thread is going all over the place. How bout I peel those last six off there and put em into their own trout thread, and then delete this one of mine?

Al did u use the drive method i was talkin about?

alscalls

We used it a lot in lower water Dave, We could see the scrarch maks in the moss on the rocks where they would fight to get through a riffle. One of us would get at the head of the pool and the other at the opposite end and cast and if they spooked a little we would move and spook em back toward the other guy.
But a Steelhead leaves bigger tracks than your fish....... :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao:
