Time span between posts

Due to the recent invasion of blanketing spam we had, I adjusted the time required between posts to 45 seconds.

I'm hoping, one, it discourages any more spammers that might stop in, even though that was basically an isolated incident.
And two, that you guys aren't effected by the change at all.

If anyone is surfing through posting and gets the warning message that their last post was less then 45 seconds ago, let me know.

There is a 30 second delay over on Varminter.com & it doesn't bother me at all. I realize the importance of it. We got hit so hard over there about 5 years ago Eric had to completely revamp the whole board & it was down for several months. Just keep up the good work here.

Sounds good to me.  My old brain takes a lot longer than 45 seconds to get in gear.  Even then I grind the cogs once in a while.

I would be posting more, but it told me I had to wait 45 DAYS between posts.  Or was it Jim that said that.     When you are over 50 your memory starts to go.  There are some  other things as well, but I can't remember what they are.

Yeah, Goshen is still there HaMeR, but the Goshen Dairy is long gone w/ all their wonderful ice cream!

I finally made the list of quick fingered typists and got hit with the message that it had not been 45 seconds.  My typing teacher would be so proud if she only knew.

5shots....your was most likely caused by a glitch in your internet connection. It not something that happens very often but it does once in a while.
