Black Pearl Acrylic

[THO Game Calls]

In my quest to make a howler for BodD, I have been perfecting my use of the Foredom a bit.  Since my first encounters with the Bit Of Death, I seem to have figured out where and more importantly, where not to put my fingers.

This is a Black Pearl Acrylic Howler that was shaped with the Fordom inside and out.  It has one of my hand made toneboards (not those molded things I was fooling with last week thank God).

I was told that you could not work acrylic this way, But did i listen?  Like that's a shock to anyone. 

This call is all hand made, no part of it was turned on the lathe.  Sanding and polishing it was not fun till the end, then I think it was worth it :)

That turned out very nicely and I am sure that it sounds great too.  The first "hand killer" that you made was equally as beautiful, just more painful to make.
