What's your favorite load for the 22-250? Favorite bullet? Favorite die set? I'm seriously thinking about reloading for this caliber. I've reloaded for my 270 in the past so I know a little about reloading. Very little really. Any help will be appreciated.

Bob,
Hornady 53 gr. HP match bullet
41.3 gr. Win 760
Win primer

This is a hot load. Approach with caution.  3800 fps.

I enjoy the 52gr A-Max from Hornady in my 22Varminter & the Swift.
I used a mild load of Varget that got me just over 3500fps. I was able to do 1/4" groups more than once w/ it.
What kinda questions do you have about reloading?

Thanks for all the reply's and load information. Just one dumb question for now, the 22 caliber ( 224) bullets in the Midway catalog, will they work in all 22 caliber rifles like the 22-250 and the 223 ?

I don't know about ALL 22 cal rifles but most hunting bullets shot in the .223 and 22-250 are .224 diameter.

Yep, the .224 bullets will work in the .223 and 22-250.  The only place that they should NOT be used is in some of the early .22 Hornets.  Some of them were designed to take a .223 bullet and not the .224.  There are not a lot of these older Hornets that are still being used, but if you find an old one that you want to shoot, you will want to check before you try using the .224 bullets.  Sierra still makes the .223 Hornet bullets in 40 and 45 grain.

Here are a few more that use .224 dia bullets.

22 Hornet (see Hawk's post)
218 Bee
221 Rem. Fireball
222 Rem.
222 Rem. Mag.
223 Rem.
225 Winchester
224 Weatherby Mag.
22-250 (also known as the 22 Varminter)
220 Swift
