I met the knucklehead HaMer a few weeks ago and I gave him some wood from my shop and I found these in my mailbox today............

You are Welcome Al. Thank You for the wood. That Maple is loaded with stripes & will make quite a few very nice pens. I haven't gotten into the other wood yet but it looks good too. I have a glueup I'm working on right now tho.

Those pens are for the wood. I know you didn't want anything for the wood but I figured if I twisted your arm hard enough you would at least accept a couple tag fillers.

And I wanna see one with a Bobcat this winter too!!

Thanks Bill!! It's the call makers like you that make my pens look nice. I don't wanna get run outta this town. I'm still learnin to turn!!

And I don't mind making a pen or 2,, or even 3 from some free wood. I just enjoy making pens.

BTW Bill. I might need your help making a call. Seems at some point I will have to turn one for a trade call over at AL's site. I think John is gonna HaMeR me if I don't join in.
