^^^       I agree, gas is so expensive , there's times I can't afford to fart.

Spray them with mineral spirits. It is a lot safer than gas and somewhat cheaper.  I kill them out on jobs all the time with a cheap spray bottle filled with mineral spirits.

carburator/choke cleaner is cheap and they will drop faster than wasp killer.
