Stan and I sit in on the howling contest and we had jd as first then kee kee and this other guy for sec.  the latex did do good in a room not very loud and nice howles, the barking sound was just not there. Some of the guys that was howling in the contest had six different howlers and you talk about shit. it was a joke the way some perform.

Born and raised in the southern highlands of Appalachia, I'm just an ol' country boy who enjoys calling coyotes... nothing more, nothing less.

I have not found a call yet that I could not use, I just know that dang thing looks different than any I have ever used.
Semp,
I almost choked on a fish stick you smart arse...... :laf:
I plan on doing some serious calling with that thing and I am looking for a cow horn to stick on it if anyone knows anyone that wants to get rid of one. I may have to go shoot a bull, with all the pro calling tips I get around here. I probably cant find a horn...... :laf:
Little end...... :roflmao: :roflmao:
I suppose I use duct tape to put it on the horn as well?

Now thats FUNNY!

I have a latex howler from Brent and I love it. I found the power howler mouth piece really easy to learn , much easier than a normal open reed howler. It does not have as much volume, but where I hunt(east in the thick stuff ) I don't need the volume. I think it sounds great!

Al, the grey bands are the high pitched ones. Just keep trying, It takes a little practice to get the hang of it.
